How do I sign up?

You can register for an account here. If your registration is successful, you will receive a welcome email with instructions for creating your login. You will need to fill in your delivery address as well as your payment information.

How much does a membership cost?

Membership is $35(+HST) for one year. Memberships do not auto-renew, customers will be prompted to purchase a new membership if their membership has expired. We have additional membership levels that allow us to offer assistance to lower-income families.

Changing your Address & Account Information

First login to your Eat Local account. Click on the user icon on the far right of the top green bar. From the dropdown menu select “Account Information”. Enter your new address and click the “Update Account Information” button at the bottom to save your information. If you need to change your delivery location as well you can select a new one from the dropdown menu and again click the “Update Account Information” button to save the new location.

Changing & Adding your Credit Card

First login to your Eat Local account. Click on the user icon on the far right of the top green bar. From the dropdown menu select “Account Information”. Click on the Credit Card tab. Fill in the new Card Number, Cardholder, Card Type, and Expiry Date. When you have updated all four of these fields, click the “Update Credit Card Information” to save the new card.

Checking your Order History

First login to your Eat Local account. Click on the user icon on the far right of the top green bar. From the dropdown menu select “Account Activity”. From here you can select any order from the “Past Orders” dropdown menu.

Can I add funds to my account?

Yes! You can add funds either by credit card or by E-transfer. To add funds by Credit Card, first login to your Eat Local account. Click on the user icon on the far right of the top green bar. From the dropdown menu select “Account Activity”.

How do I know if a credit has been applied to an order?

First login to your Eat Local account. Click on the user icon on the far right of the top green bar. From the dropdown menu select “Account Activity”. Select the order from the “Past Orders” dropdown menu. Scroll down to the end of the order and click on “Payments & Credits”. This will reveal any credit that has been applied to the order and the payment received.

How do I know if I have credit on my account?

First login to your Eat Local account. Click on the user icon on the far right of the top green bar. From the dropdown menu select “Account Activity”. You will see two amounts at the top of the screen, one is the amount owing on your account (Unpaid Orders) and the other is the amount of credit that exists on your account (Account Balance).

How do I use a gift certificate?

If you have been given a gift certificate, you can enter the certificate code at the time of checkout. The entire certificate amount will be applied to your account as store credit. Any leftover amount will remain on your account for your next order.

How do I access my favourites list?

When you’re on the Eat Local store, click on the green “Shop by” button on the left side. From the dropdown menu, select ‘My Favourites’.
