Return, Cancellation and Refund Policy

Website Return and Refund Policy

Grocery items: The Eat Local Grey Bruce Co-operative will accept returns for refund or exchange grocery items purchased online with a copy of the e-mail receipt within 7 days of delivery or pick-up.

Courses and seminars: Online registrations for courses or seminars will be refunded fully up to 4 weeks before the first session of the course or seminar, with a processing charge of $15. Up to 3 days before the first session of the course or seminar, we will refund 50% of the fee. If the conditions of the session or course state different conditions than this rule, these would be applicable.

Membership: Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. With your membership, you acquire a partial ownership of the co-op and voting rights.  During our start-up fundraiser, we are selling multi-year memberships in order to raise money for purchasing equipment and pay staff over the first months.

In the case that our co-operative enterprise files bankruptcy and ceases operation, then the Canadian Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act applies and remaining assets are distributed accordingly. Our members cannot file claims against any of our partnering institution and enterprises.

The Website Return and Refund Policy is subject to future revision and adoption by the Board of the Eat Local Grey Bruce Co-operative.
